To unite the Cordilleran, Igorot, Indigenous, First Nations, Aboriginals and other ethnic minorities in the diaspora through the shared experience of the Cordillera Gong Festival, fostering the preservation of ancestral traditions, and actively sharing the richness of Cordilleran culture with the wider community.
To be the preeminent annual gathering in the United States for the celebration, exhibition, and perpetuation of Cordilleran culture, serving as a vibrant hub for intergenerational dialogue, cultural exchange, and artistic collaboration.
Preservation & Unity: Bring together Cordilleran and Igorot organizations across the United States to strengthen community ties and collectively protect cultural practices within the diaspora, while also inviting other Indigenous, First Nations, and Aboriginal communities to join in preserving our cultures through the performance of traditional music and song.
Intergenerational Transmission: Implement a youth-focused presentation competition to encourage young people to actively study, engage with, and perpetuate Cordilleran culture.
Cultural Sharing: Provide a high-quality platform for the exhibition of Cordilleran music, dance, crafts, and heritage to a diverse, external audience.
Artistic Excellence: Facilitate the preparation and presentation of impactful cultural performances by participating organizations.
